SPRING BREAK

Thank the good Lord above. I sure needed it.

I'm sitting in my living room with the air off and the fan on, and I'd have the porch door open if I weren't afraid of a fuzzy yellow film appearing on everything. I'm already suffering from the effects of inhalation of copious amounts of pollen, and I'm thinking it wouldn't be a good idea to let it come live in my apartment as well. But it's such a beautiful day outside that it's really hard to resist.

It's been a great break so far. I've been trying to fit a good bit of life into a short amount of time since I have no life during school. I was home for a few days over the weekend, got to visit and have lunch with three of my favorite people yesterday, and now I'm back in my apartment for pretty much the rest of the week. I'm taking a trip up to CH tomorrow to have lunch, hang out, do dinner, go to a baseball game, and grab some appetizers afterward. I'm very excited.

Until then, I'm going to revel in inactivity. The weather is absolutely gorgeous, and I've decided to move out onto my balcony to finish the post. After cleaning off my furniture. I soaked a dishtowel in cold water and bathed both chairs and the threshold before doing anything else. I even put the towel on the ground for my feet so they won't get dirty if I decide to take them out of the chair opposite me. It's all such a small sacrifice to make for this felicity.

I want to let y'all know that I hope you weren't offended by the previous post. I tend to get rather involved when it comes to watching sports, and I wasn't particularly happy about the outcome of this year's NCAA Men's National Championship in basketball. Thankfully, the free trial of MLB Extra Innings (all out-of-market baseball games) has been there to take my mind off the upsetting turn of events. I don't know what I'll do when they decide it shouldn't be free anymore.

Go outside, friends. Today is a gift. Oh, wait--are you not on spring break? That's just me?

Sorry. ;-D
