down with the sickness

If I ever doubted that I was beautiful, it is now confirmed. I mean, you've got to be gorgeous when you wake up multiple times two nights in a row just to throw up, but you still look pretty and healthy when you're done. Right?

Hm, maybe it's the slight tan I got from sitting outside in the beautiful weather yesterday, or the natural glow I have from being kid-free for a week, or the flushed excitement from the hockey team winning game 1 of the playoffs, or the childlike joy of returning home for a few days (if I ever stop vomiting and make it there).

Basically, despite the awful feelings in my innards, it's still a very good life. :-)
