I'm a grown child.

I was just looking at the schedule for one of the theaters near here, hoping that there would be a good show coming up sometime in the spring.  It was the last thing I'd planned to do before knocking out for the night as my eyes were already sticky and my cognition fuzzy.  I was scanning the acts, scrolling, scrolling...

...THE IMAGINATION MOVERS ARE GOING TO BE IN TOWN.

Do you know how much I love the Imagination Movers?  Do you know how amazing I think they are?  Do you know that working with them would be my dream job right behind being a meteorologist?  Do you know I had a crush on every single one of them (yes, even Smitty) until I looked them up on Wikipedia and found out that they were all married with children before the show even aired?  Do you know that I see clouds and random objects float in the air every time someone mentions brainstorming?  Do you know that I record every new episode and many old episodes, I know all the regular songs, I can understand what Warehouse Mouse says, I laugh at all their jokes, I dance right along with them, I help them solve problems, and I think of them and smile every time someone mentions something being exciting?

Sometimes, when I'm being silly, I'll sing their songs for my kids.  They think it's strange that their grown-up teacher knows all the words to a show they watched three years ago.  I bet it's really endearing, and they just won't admit it.

The point of all this is to say that I was ready to go to bed half an hour ago, and now I'm hype out of my mind.  Except that I don't know anyone who would even consider going to the show with me.  Hmm, looks like I've got to make some converts within the next few months.  Who wants to watch some Imagination Movers episodes with me?  I still have the Joey Fatone one recorded from several months ago (hint hint...Brandi)!!  Yes?

Ummm ok. Really? You think a Joey Fatone reference is going to suck me in? Sorry, my dear, to disappoint you!
