--never, ever paint another color on the tip of your chipping nails just to see how the new color would look, especially if you are not a fan of removing nail polish often. Chipped pink polish is much easier to hide than chipped pink polish with a big green swipe across one edge.
I don't have much to report, but I do want to tell you about my happy accident today. It's not much of an accident. I am an avid user of Pandora, an online radio site that plays music according to attributes found in a certain artist's songs, or one song in particular. I've been using it for a good while now, and I continually find fantastic stations that make me happy. The station I stumbled upon today is one of the pre-mixed genre stations. For those of you who are Pandora subscribers, go to Genre Stations, then Blues, then Texas Blues Radio. Fantastic. It's got classic BB King kind of stuff, with incredible guitar riffs and 12-8 beats. It's quite excellent.
A perennial favorite of mine is One For My Baby Radio, taking its title from the Frank Sinatra piece. It has lots of laid-back mid-tempo dance-ready swing standards from folks like Ella Fitzgerald, Bing Crosby, Tony Bennett, and Johnny Hartman. Another favorite is Amos Lee Radio (both of these are things you would need to type in after clicking Create New Station), which is comprised of bluesy, folkish, soul-tinged rock. Its repertoire is plugged with folks like Ben Harper, David Gray, Ray LaMontagne, and Norah Jones.
Pandora has given me much enjoyment over the few years I've used it. If you don't have it already, I entreat you to sign up for it. It really is rather extraordinary and pleasing.
