I am back from being home.
Fall break was good. I did nearly nothing, though I did read some in The Rock for my Islamic Civ class. I probably should have been more productive. But it wouldn't have been a break, then, so I'm glad I wasn't any more productive.
I visited Concord High Wednesday and Friday. On Wednesday, I was going to surprise Lydia and Anna when they got out of school, but I couldn't find their cars in the parking lot. So I looked for them in the throng of kids for a minute or two, then gave up. Instead I talked to Mrs. Redding for a minute, then Mrs. Mach for a very long time, then Sarita for a very long time. It was nice to see them again. On Friday, Thomas and I went and talked to Mrs. Redding's two AP English III classes for a little while. First period only got like ten minutes before the bell rang, and second period got a whole long time. I felt kind of bad that we used up so much of her class time. They just kept asking so many good questions, plus I tend to ramble and draw out my answers. A deadly combo. After we talked to Mrs. Redding's class we visited Mrs. Crowle, Coach Cole, Linda Johnson, and Mrs. Warfel. It was good to see them, too.
I went to the game again. I can't miss a high school football game when I'm home--that'd be stupid of me. Other people can do it, but I can't. We won. Lydia and Alexandra and I went to Steak 'n' Shake and had milkshakes (and...chili? um...). I don't know why, but we couldn't stop laughing at anything. Lydia went home and Alexandra and I went out into the country to look at stars. It was way neat because it was pretty dark. And we could hear I85, which was pretty crazy. We didn't realize it was that close.
I finally brought a calendar back with me, along with Kenneth Branagh's Much Ado About Nothing--whoa great movie. If you wonder what to get me for Christmas, by the way, go for the Cinderella special edition DVD. I've been waiting for it ever since I found out it was being released in October 2005. Check with my parents and brother first, though, because I've told them a million times that that's something I want a whole lot. And...I'm thinking of other stuff I want. I like cookbooks and I like notebooks (ones I can use as journals) and I like CDs (Jars of Clay--Eleventh Hour, Jars of Clay, Much Afraid--those are your best bets). I like italicized words. Especially when I don't know whether to underline or "quote" movie and CD titles. I can do books and articles, but not movies and music.
I am listening to Josh Grobaaaaaaaaan and he is so amazing. His voice is just like buttah.

go for italics or underlining on movies and album titles. since song titles are in quotes, it only makes sense to italicize the album title.
