...cherry kisses and a bedtime prayer

This is going to be a quick one hopefully because I just realized it's almost midnight.

I was home this weekend and went to the Kannapolis game. We lost. I was sad. However, I did get to see all kinds of wonderful people like Sarah Bauer-Nilsen, Lydia, Sean Doyle, Daniel Johnson, Anna Barefoot, and other people. I was very excited about that. I love Concord people! I did kind of feel weird, though, because I was standing there amid lots of great people from my graduating class, and some other kids too, and I actually missed Chapel Hill. I missed my hallmates and my friends. I missed hanging out, talking politics, laughing about crazy stuff...I just missed Chapel Hillians. I love this place. I wish I could give it a big huge hug. Lydia, you really really should go here. You must go here. I command you to go here.

I have had so much food today. We went to LOS ARCOS!!!!!! for lunch, and I had the very best ever, the Super Burrito with chicken, beans instead of rice. I ate some of it because it's huge, then I gave the rest to Andrew. After that I slept on the couch and almost made us late to the church potluck. That's where I had even more food--like lots of it. There is absolutely nothing like Southern ladies' cooking. I love church potlucks. I had lots of deviled eggs and some pasta (I made it and it was nothing like usual--rather bland, in fact--I made it just to quell my desire to cook since I haven't been able to for weeks and it's been driving me crazy) and some meatballs and some green beans and some jello salad and some pot roast and some other stuff. Some tasty stuff. I was full for hours. Actually I am still full. I am eating tasty cherry-filled Hershey's Kisses anyway. Ha, Jennica came in and said, "Laura I have to give you a kiss" and I just looked at her. Then she handed me one of those. They are super tasty.

I just realized I forgot to call DeLeslie about picking up the pictures to decorate our room. Taplin and Taylor were supposed to draw me some pictures for me to put up on our walls, and I never contacted her about picking them up. Oops.

This was not short. It was sweet, though.
